Vision of Life

We are born then we live for a while and finally we depart. What’s the purpose of life? We toil all our life from childhood to adulthood until final years of life not really knowing where we are going. Life just seems to flow or should we say we live life in an ‘auto-pilot’ mode passing from one phase to another often without any clear vision or indication as to where our life leads us. There is no manual on ‘How to Live Life’. There is a few tick boxes exercises in our life, though. Let’s call it a Checklist of Life which states things that we need to do in life such as go to school, go to college, go to university, get a job, settle yourself, buy a house, buy a car, get married, have kids, pay bills, toil for promotions, raise the kids, go on holidays, join pension scheme, save for later years of life, settle your kids, retirement life, live on pension, stay in care homes and after all these, finally live a lonely life during the last inning of life. Is this life? Is this why we are born – just to live or to make our life worth it?

Save your Planet

The planet we live on is a beautiful abode rich with natural beauty and ample resources. The nature gives us everything we need - air, water, light, land without which our life would be impossible. While we get so much from our planet Earth, what do we give back to our planet Earth. Do we really care for our Earth? Global warming is warning us to rethink how we treat the nature and our Mother Earth. There is a lot our planet endures may it be widespread pollution, human population explosion leading to ceaseless demand on limited earthly resources, unkindness to animals leading to extinctions and ecological imbalances, deforestation, industrialisation leading to excessive carbon emissions and the list goes on. If we are not mindful of what we are doing to the nature and its habitants, we will soon see the adverse consequences of our oblivious acts. We are leaving behind an abode full of air, water and noise pollution. Let’s Wake Up before it’s too late. We today hear about natural calamities affecting lives across the planet. What are we going to do to protect and save our planet?

Shaping our Successors

We all know that our next generation will carry the beacon of human existence. The new generation will shape the future, so we need to enlighten, encourage and empower them to realise their potentials, develop a sense of identity and purpose, understand the importance of goal setting, build self-esteem and confidence, tactically deal with challenges, realise the opportunities and hone their skills for a better and brighter future ahead. We need to understand them and their needs. We need to guide them and instil good values in them. We need to love and appreciate them so that they learn to be compassionate. We, adults, play various roles as parents, teachers, carers, coaches, mentors to shape the lives of our next generation. Our next generation needs Role Models who can inspire them to lead a better and brighter live ahead. What role do you play in shaping the future of our next generation?

One World

We live in a broken and divided world which needs fixing. Though we are all human, sadly not all are treated alike. We all want to be accepted in the society, appreciated for our skills and acknowledged for our efforts. Let’s not alienate anyone on the basis of colour, creed, race, sex, status, nationality. Let’s celebrate unity in diversity. Let’s overcome conscious bias and move towards conscious inclusion. Let’s work together to make our society inclusive and world progressive breaking the shackles of disparity and detestation allowing everyone to be their authentic self. What can we do to embed Equality, Diversity, Fraternity and Inclusion in the society in order to fix our broken and divided world?

It’s all about what we are doing for our body and mind to keep it fit, active and productive. It’s often at the bottom of our priorities so we don’t consider our wellbeing as a key to a successful and blissful life. Mental, Emotional and Physical Wellbeing is of utmost importance. Relationship Matters

We are social beings and can’t live on our own as we rely on others throughout our lives. We cannot underestimate the role our families, friends, colleagues, alliances, community etc. play in our personal and professional lives. More positive the relationship, better the bond. Relationship is all about managing expectations, understanding emotions, respecting each other’s viewpoints, appreciating each other’s values, caring for each other and sharing a special bond of love, empathy, respect and trust. It is important that we Seek First to Understand, then to be understood. What do you think is the value of relationship in this stern and fast-paced modern lives we lead today?

Gearing up for Growth

Gearing up for Growth

We have made a journey of hundreds of years to get to where we are today. Life is all about evolution, continual change and sustainable growth. May it be in personal or professional lives, we need to adopt best practices and adapt to changing needs continually so that we can grow, succeed and sustain. In our personal lives, we must try to sharpen our skills so that we can meet the challenges that life poses at us. In our professional lives, we need to keep reassessing our potentials in order to strengthen our competencies and make the most of our capabilities in achieving our corporate goals and growth aspirations. It’s not easy to succeed or prosper. It’s not just hard work that pays off, it is SMART work that makes the difference. Do we understand what we want to achieve in our personal or professional lives, do we know what motivates us or what frustrates us, do we ever consider learning new skills, taking up a new role, step beyond our comfort zone or explore options and opportunities around us to optimise our knowledge and experience in attaining success, happiness and prosperity. With a Growth Mindset, pragmatic and proactive approach, positive thinking for a Win-Win outcome, passion to excel and an urge to learn and grow we can all attain personal and professional excellence. Wonder what would have happened if we didn’t evolve and just remained as our primitives. Life would be so different if we didn’t embrace all the advancements, we, humans have made so far. Life is about moving forward so should we be contented with Status-Quo? Why do you think there is a need to strive for continual improvement in our personal and/or professional lives?
